I keep seeing these daily posts from everyone on my Facebook News Feed proclaiming what they are thankful for each day for the month of November. Unfortunately, I lack the discipline to keep that up for a solid month, but I love reading them!
I DO have a lot to be thankful for, and I think I don't project that enough on the blog. Instead, I use it as a tool to vent and bitch and whine. But I promise, that's not how I'm really feeling all of the time. :)
So,
I'm thankful for my husband. He is a total workaholic and it drives me completely insane sometimes, but he is also a good provider and has made it possible for me to stay home with the kids. I admire his work ethic and am grateful that he has a good job that he enjoys.
I'm thankful for my children, who make me smile, laugh and challenge me every single day. They are the most brilliant, loving souls in the world and I am so, so blessed to call them mine. :) (And I can't wait to meet the newest Campbell, coming soon!) :)
I'm thankful for my health, especially after the struggles the last few years. It hasn't always been a given.
I'm thankful for shelves full of amazing books in my house, that on the gloomiest of days, I can fix a cup of hot tea and curl up in the chair near them and just stare at the spines and be content.
I'm thankful for all of the amazing writerly friends that I have "met" this year. You have inspired me, encouraged me, and brought so much to my life. Especially, but not limited to, Jolene Perry and Kelley Vitollo. Who I cannot wait to someday meet for coffee and book store perusing. :)
I'm thankful for all of the readers of Grounding Quinn that took the time to read my work, whether they loved or hated it. For the bloggers that reviewed it. For the touching emails from far off places I dream of going telling me how much they loved Quinn. You have made my year!!
I know I haven't been around much on Twitter, Facebook or blogging regularly, this pregnancy is kind of kicking my butt this time around! BUT I hope you all have a fabulous holiday season and feel free to leave me a comment telling me what you are thankful for! :)
So, since I have been blessed so greatly this year, I'm doing a *little* something to show my gratitude and from now until Christmas Day, I'm dropping the price of Grounding Quinn to $0.99 for Kindle and Nook formats.
