A little inspiration...

I've been feeling a lot bit restless lately. I have a few projects started, but can't settle in and focus on just one and have been riding that insane line where you try to work on all of them even though it's pretty much impossible with each project being SO different. And you have a writing partner-in-crime on another deadline so you can't work on "that" project. ;)

So, my darling friend Nichole suggested that to help curb that *twitchy, restless, unsettled* feeling, that I should throw all of my energy into ONE of the projects.

Since I plan to release it well in time for Christmas, BEAUTIFUL THINGS NEVER LAST has garnered my full attention. (Also, because I love it.) (And I really hope you will, too.)

Beautiful Things Never Last

(If you haven't read the blurb you can read it HERE. And a teaser HERE.) **Beautiful Things Never Last is a follow up novel to Grounding Quinn, the blurb to BTNL contains spoilers to Grounding Quinn

So, to help with inspiration and keep my on track, I've started a Pinterest board for it HERE.

But I'm really having trouble finding Quinn. Can you help? If you come across a picture that screams QUINN to you, pass it my way! I'd love to see what you come up with!!

Also,

This song *IS* Beautiful Things Never Last.  I've loved it for years, but when I heard it on the way home this afternoon, I could have cried it was so perfect. :) (Well done, once again, Damien.) In other news, we're planning something cool in the next couple of weeks on our group blog, FOR THE LOVE OF CONTEMPORARY. Nyrae Dawn has got deets HERE.

  1. I'm SO excited for this project of yours.
I did NOT want to read more about them b/c the end to Grounding Quinn was so perfect that I was afraid to read more until you blurb. Well...okay...and maybe it also has to do with some of the brilliant snippets you've sent me...

  2. I just can't work on multiple projects. Writing two+ at least.

I can edit one and write another though. I've got another project I want to start, but I want to finish up editing the other so I can get querying. Otherwise I would've probably started writing the other--I've been good. Filling up my notebook and getting ready though.

  4. Yes! So glad you have a plan. I think it's smart to work on one project and I can't wait to read it. Let me know if you need anything :)
